Noel joined Resorts World Sentosa in January 2008 and is currently Vice President of Engagement and Partnership. In this role, he heads a team tasked with forging alliances and partnerships with commercial and tourism associations.
During the pre-opening phase of Resorts World Sentosa, Noel played an instrumental role in setting up the Rooms and Food & Beverage departments, as well as the RWS Convention Centre. He was also responsible for the Retail and Transport operations, which included Universal Studios Singapore’s retail merchandising, limousine services for VIPs, as well as transportation for the Resort’s 13,000 team members. After the Resort opened in 2010, Noel moved on to a Sales & Marketing role in Channel Development.
A veteran hotelier, Noel’s extensive experience in hospitality includes 21 years as the General Manager of Hotel Phoenix, making him one of the longest-serving General Managers in Singapore’s hotel industry. Under his leadership, the hotel was billed as Singapore’s most productive hotel. The hotel closed for redevelopment in August 2007 after chalking up a string of accolades during its 35-year run and a reputation for serving some of the best local food in town.
Noel is a Board member of the Singapore Hotel and Tourism Education Centre (SHATEC), and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).
Married with a son, Noel enjoys reading, listening to music, playing golf and swimming in his free time. He is also an avid art collector.
